The first session would usually be focussed on gaining a shared understanding of your main difficulties as you see them. Once we have agreed to work together, we would contract a number of sessions in the first instance, and then review. A course of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) would usually be 6-12 sessions, however this can be extended as far as 24 sessions, and you can return for further work or review sessions if useful. Usually, these sessions would be an hour in length, meeting on a weekly basis, however adjustments can be made to suit need.
All therapy is currently being offered online (e.g. Zoom) or by telephone. Sessions need to be paid for in advance. Rates start at £130 per hourly session. I have limited reduced rates places available for those who are facing financial hardship.
