Principles of Care
We all face difficult times in our lives that unsettle us, none of us are immune to this. The resources we have at the time will greatly shape how well we are able to respond to and manage challenges they present.
It is normal and understandable to struggle with mental health from time to time – asking for support to overcome these challenges is the first step to working towards where you want to be.
In my practice I will provide you with a safe, confidential space where you will not be judged and will not need to be anything other than what you are. You will be regarded with warmth, compassion and understanding, using an evidence-based approach that is designed help you better understand yourself and your difficulties, feeling empowered and confident to use these skills to take forward with you beyond our course of therapy.
My practice has enabled me to develop a profound appreciation and respect for the capacity human beings have to grow and change; it is a privilege to have the opportunity to work alongside each person, and every day I continue to learn and grow through each experience my practice brings.
